Zydus Dahod hospital

Dahod, Gujarat

The Zydus Civil Hospital at Dahod is a government-funded healthcare facility developed to enhance medical services in the region. The infrastructure for this project has been meticulously developed by Zydus Hospitals and constructed by PSP Projects Limited. With a total built-up area of 625,000 square feet, the hospital complex consists of two main buildings: the Hospital Building and the Staff Quarter.

The hospital building is designed as a B+G+7 story structure, strategically separated into seven parts by expansion joints. This design incorporates a combination of shear walls and columns, ensuring structural integrity and stability while accommodating potential movements due to thermal expansion and seismic activity. Adjacent to the hospital, the Staff Quarter is a G+8 story building that also utilizes shear walls combined with flat slab construction, eliminating the need for beams. This design not only maximizes usable space but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the building.

By providing comprehensive structural consultancy, we have ensured that both buildings meet stringent safety standards while facilitating efficient healthcare delivery. The Civil Hospital at Dahod stands as a testament to our dedication to improving community health services through innovative design and robust engineering solutions. This facility will play a vital role in serving the healthcare needs of the local population, contributing significantly to public health in the region.
