Shekhani Industries, a prominent manufacturer of sanitary pads and diapers, is establishing a modern production facility in Ahmedabad. Spread across a vast 1,00,000 sqm plot, the facility is being developed in two phases, with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and scalable infrastructure to meet the growing demand for hygiene products.
In Phase-1, the project includes the construction of a main building measuring 85m x 72m. This RCC structure, with a ground floor and first floor, is covered by a steel roof at a height of 11m, creating a total built-up area of 12,500 sqm with future provision of 3 more such sheds. This phase also incorporates essential supportive infrastructure such as an STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), parking sheds, a rainwater harvesting system, a weighbridge, a security cabin, utility tanks, a toilet block, and general site development.
Phase-2 expands the facility with a second main building measuring 70m x 72m, similarly designed as an RCC structure with a ground floor and first floor covered by a steel roof at 11m, adding another 11,500 sqm of built-up area. This phase reflects the scalability of the project, ensuring that the facility can adapt to the industry’s evolving needs.
We provided comprehensive services for the project, including master planning, architectural planning, and structural design, ensuring a cohesive and efficient facility layout. The design prioritizes operational efficiency while incorporating sustainable features such as rainwater harvesting and optimized space utilization. This facility positions Shekhani Industries as a leader in hygiene product manufacturing, contributing to improved accessibility of essential sanitary and diaper products in India. By integrating modern construction techniques with thoughtful planning, the project embodies the company’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and growth.
