The Intake Well at Dharoi Dam is a critical infrastructure project designed to enhance water supply capabilities in the region. This facility features a 15-meter diameter pump house equipped with a circular gantry located at a height of 10 meters above the high flood level (HFL), ensuring efficient operation and maintenance access. At the core of this project are ten vertical turbine (VT) pumps, strategically installed to facilitate effective water extraction from the dam. The intake well is supported by a robust pile foundation, consisting of eight piles, each reaching a height of 22 meters.  

To connect the pump house to the intake well, an 85-meter long and 6-meter-wide steel bridge has been constructed. This bridge is not only vital for operational connectivity but is also designed to withstand various environmental conditions. The bridge is supported by a pile foundation system that ensures stability and durability, allowing for safe transportation of personnel and equipment between the pump house and intake well.
