The TIM Engineering facility located in Changodar, Ahmedabad, showcases a very unique architectural elevation characterized by complex profiles, reflecting modern design principles in the industrial sector. This project features a main factory building with dimensions of 220 meters by 90 meters and a height of 11 meters, providing ample space for manufacturing operations.

The facility is equipped with 10-ton and 20-ton Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) cranes, which have a crane span of 18 meters, facilitating efficient movement of materials within the factory. A notable aspect of the design is the use of corrugated web beams, also known as “seam beams,” which were used as both columns and rafters. This innovative choice significantly increases the strength-to-weight ratio compared to standard beams, enhancing structural efficiency. In addition to the main factory, the project includes a ground plus three-story (G+3) office building constructed from a steel structure utilizing structural seam beam sections. This design not only supports the operational needs but also contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the facility. The project further incorporates a G+3 RCC labor quarter available in two configurations, along with an office utility block to support administrative functions.
