The Government Medical College and District Hospital at Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, is a significant healthcare project developed for the Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department. This facility spans a total area of 850,000 square feet and consists of two main campuses: the Hospital Campus and the College Campus.

In the Hospital Campus, the project features a 500-bed hospital building designed as a ground plus eight-story (G+8) structure, covering an area of 250,000 square feet. The hospital building is divided into five parts with expansion joints to accommodate structural movements and ensure stability. In addition to the hospital, essential facilities such as a nurse hostel, resident hostel, sewage treatment plant (STP), effluent treatment plant (ETP), and a biomedical waste room are included. A raft foundation has been adopted for all major buildings to effectively manage the shallower groundwater table in the area.

The College Campus includes an academic building designed as a ground plus seven-story (G+7) structure with a total area of 230,000 square feet, also divided into four parts with expansion joints. The campus features separate hostels for boys and girls, both constructed as G+7 buildings with a combined area of 140,000 square feet. Additionally, the residential block includes staff residences in various configurations ranging from ground plus two (G+2) to ground plus nine (G+9), covering a total area of 105,000 square feet. Other structures on the campus include an intern’s hostel and a library block.
